We’re springing into action at photoGuard this April by offering you a chance to win £1000 of vouchers from one of the UK’s leading camera retailers! All you need to do is take out a photoGuard policy between 1st April and 30th April 2024 to be entered into our prize draw. What’s more, our 25% discount will be automatically applied when you take out your new policy!
We’ll announce our one lucky winner on 6th May. Good luck!
Terms and conditions
- Entrants who register their details with photoGuard between 1st April 2024 and 30th April 2024 will be automatically entered into the free prize draw.
- Entrants will each be assigned a unique number, with numbers being drawn at random to decide the winner and the five runners-up.
- The winner will be chosen by 6th May 2024.
- Within 3 days of the winner being chosen, the winner will be contacted once using the email address provided.
- Prize must be claimed within 14 days of being notified. If there is no response within 14 days of the winner being notified, another winner will be chosen at random.
- The prizes are one £1000 worth of Wex gift vouchers.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash or other prizes.
- We retain the right to substitute the prize for one of similar value.
- Only one entry per person is permitted.
- Entrants are not permitted to enter on someone else’s behalf.
- Entry is in line with the rules
- The winner may be asked by photoGuard if they wish to take part and co-operate with any publicity events taking place in conjunction with this competition including giving consent to their photograph being used for publicity purposes.
- Prize draw is only available to UK-based students.
- Prize draw is only available to UK residents aged 18 and over.
- Entry into the photoGuard competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions.
- The prize draw is governed by English Law.

Taking your camera out in public?
We know that accidents can happen. That’s why we will protect you against third party damage or injury claims (excludes drone use and any liability incident in North America).
Optional extras for your camera
Global Travel - 30 days of travel cover not enough? If you’re away with work or if you’re planning a worldwide adventure, you can extend your policy to include 365 days of global travel cover plus additional travel benefits.
£5m or £10m Public Liability - Extend your Public Liability cover and get protection for you and those who assist you in photography or filming against third party damage or injury claims. Cover does not apply in North America.
Mechanical Breakdown - It’s frustrating if your camera breaks down outside its warranty. Our breakdown option will cover faulty kit that's up to five years old and owned from new. Excludes drones and technology items.
